12-22-13 - Kelley Golden has recently retired after a long and successful career with Northrop Grumman in Huntsville.
12-8-13 - Linda Michola recently got engaged. I don't know who the fella is.
11-27-13 - Three old friends got together for lunch yesterday. Anna McCulloch, Sally Peeler and Eleanor Hovater. Eleanor was in town from her home on the coast.
11-10-13 - Congratulations to Jeanie Burkett and Kathy McDonough. THey both completed the Huntsville Half Marathon yesterday with strong times. Jeanie especially as she came in 4th in the female 55 - 59 age group.
10-27-13 - Spurgeon Hendrick, history teacher and debate coach at HHS from 1972 to 1992, died last week. You can read his obituary in the memorials.
9-24-13 - One of our HHS teachers, Mrs. Perkins, died this past Saturday. I know plenty of you had her and she also attended our 20 and 30 year reunions. Read her obituary and classmate comments by clicking her picture on the Memorials page.
9-6-13 - HHS continued its domination of Grissom, beating them 47-0 tonight. In recent years this has become a lopsided rivalry.
8-16-13 - On August 7 some classmates gathered at Bandito Southside to visit with Pat Hughes who was visiting from Sweden. Pictures from this gathering are included in the 2013 Summer Parties photo album.
8-6-13 - Lori Walsh has moved back to Huntsville from San diego.

6-21-13 - Some of you may remember Lili Downs' younger sister Crystal. Crystal has passed away after a long battle with brain cancer.
5-29-13 - This past weekend Gary Barr competed in a 24 hour motorcycle cross country race that draws riders from all over the country. The course is a 10 mile course through woods and literally lasts 24 hours. Gary won 1st place in the over 50 category and came in 3rd place overall.
5-20-13 - Some of you may have known or remember Stephanie McLaney's older sister Lynn, '75. Lynn passed away on Saturday after a long illness.
5-11-13 - On Thursday Billy Steele got married. The bride's name is Catherine. Congratulations King William!
5-9-13 - Kathy McDonough is the new president of the Madison County Chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association. As such she go t the VIP treatment at the recent Crimson Caravan event here in Huntsville:

4-24-13 - After about 2 years in Minneapolis, Dorothy Goodson has moved back to Atlanta.
4-4-13 - Eleanor Hovater's house in Gulf Shores burned completely down and she lost virtually everything. I think the only contact information on her page that is correct is her email address, should anyone want to send her a message. She us currently looking for a place to rent while she begins the process of rebuilding her house.
3-18-13 - Scott Ramminger's second album is now out and available at cdbaby.com. The new cd has received several good reviews from around the country. You can hear a few songs here.
3-15-13 - William (Leroy) Coleman will be retiring from the Navy in April and moving back to Huntsville. Welcome home Leroy!
3-13-13 - Lauren Farrington will be the rector of St. John's in Monroeville, AL beginning in June. See the photo from the November news item when Lauren was ordained into the Episcopal priesthood.
