12-16-17 - Jim Robertson was named lawyer of the year by the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program.  


12-15-17 - Pam Hall’s son, Billy Napier, is the new head football coach at Louisiana-Lafayette University (they play Alabama next season). Many of you may not have known that Billy was the receivers coach at Alabama from 2013 to 2016. This season he was at Arizona State. 


12-14-17 - One of our teachers, Linda Ruth, passed away this morning. I’m told she had a massive stroke.  I have set up a memorial page for her.  


10-12-17 - Many of us who went to Huntsville Junior High had Bill Keathley’s mom as a teacher. I believe it was science.  Mrs. Krathley died this week.  Bill’s contact information is on his page. 


10-9-17 - Congratulations to Sue Howard who got married this past weekend. The lucky fella’s name is David Gjertson (pronounced with a silent G and the J like a Y…Yertson). Sue will remain Sue Youngblood. The happy couple:




9-27-17 - Pam Hall’s husband died yesterday. He had ALS. You can read his obituary here. Pam is on facebook and all of her contact information is on her page in The Class. 


9-27-17 - Jennie Floyd was on Jeopardy tonight. I didn’t see it but I understand she did well.  


9-14-17 - SandraNorton, HHS teacher and dance team coach, died yesterday. I will have her obituary and a memorial up for her soon. 


7-21-17 - Vickie Worley’s younger sister Margaret Haas died on July 16. I believe she was in the class of ’78. Vickie’s contact information is on her page in The Class. 


5-31-17 - Peter Joffrion is running for congress from the 5th district here in Huntsville. The election is in 2018. You can read about his announcement here


5-29-17 - Kathy McDonough completed her first Half Ironman Triathlon. 


5-26-17 - Lyne Conner  has retired from the Dallas County school system. 


4-28-17 - Gary Barr’s granddaughter Caitlyn Spears, 18, has passed away. Gary’s contact information is on his page in The Class. 


4-11-17 - Chris Crenshaw took a job with Academy Sports and now lives in New Orleans.  He had been in Athens. 


4-8-17 - Scott Ramminger has moved to Nashville from the DC area.

2-24-17 - Carol Pedigo, who taught English at HHS, died on February 13. 


2-24-17 - Nancy Brown has moved to Sarasota, FL from the 30A area.
