I graduated from Alabama in 1980, and from Cumberland School of Law in 1986. I lived in Birmingham and practiced law for many years, until I married my husband of 32 years, Fred Ordway, and moved to Wellington New Zealand. We were there for 4 years (loved it, but the flights were awful), then moved home to Huntsville, and have lived on Monte Sano since 1997. We have 2 awesome kids, John (27) who is a YMCQ Camp Director in Ocoee Tennessee, and Sarah Katherine (32), married to Loky Hough. They live in Brisbane Australia, and have my first little granddaughter, Harriet Lenora (Hattie)! After retiring from the law, I designed and sewed costumes for Huntsville Ballet and Alabama Youth Ballet for many years. I still sew, lots, and keep busy with volunteer work, playing mahjong with my friends, and travelling!
