2006

After graduating I moved to Pensacola to attend Pensacola Junior College and help my brother start a business. In Pensacola I met my wife (Lori) and we have been married 27 years. We have two grown children: Jennifer and Scott. We have 6 grand children (2 granddaughters and 4 grandsons). Lori is retired now and spends lots of time with the two grandsons who live in Pensacola. My brother and I closed our business in 1991. After having a couple of jobs I went to work for Home Depot for about 10 years. I became the night freight manager running a freight crew responsible for doing a million dollars worth of freight a week. After 4 years I stepped down and moved to another store in the area. In 2004 I left Home Depot. That same year Pensacola was hit very hard by hurricane Ivan. After a couple of rough years I have just recently started a new job with G E in the wind energy field. I am working at the Pensacola plant where we are building 1.5 megawatt wind turbines which generate electicity. I am not going to be able to make it to the reunion but will be thinking of you all.
