Betty LeHew Dinwiddie
Betty LeHew Dinwiddie, 67, of Huntsville passed away Thursday. Miss Dinwiddie was a graduate of Huntsville High School, The University of Alabama and Alabama A&M. She taught Government and Economics at Huntsville High School for 31 years, serving many years as Head of the Social Studies Department. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teacher's Sorority and served many years as Treasurer. Miss Dinwiddie was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar LeHew and Anne Dinwiddie.
Survivors include sisters, Mike Vann (Jim), and Laura Lee Dinwiddie; brother, Russell LeHew Dinwiddie (Anna); and her beloved nieces and nephew, Beth Griggs, Sunny Vann, Meagan Dinwiddie and Forrest Russell Dinwiddie.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A private funeral service will be held later.
