What a beautiful soul, my sympathies to her family. Our families moved to Piedmont around same time and we were friends through Holy Spirit and HHS. God Bless you Cathy - Kathy Siersma

We were in a Piedmont carpool together in 7th and 8th grade while at Whitesburg Jr. High.  Such a wonderful smile, beautiful eyes and a sweet soul!  At Huntsville High in 9th grade, we went to a dance together, she was my first "real" date.  I'll always remember her as we danced to Seals & Croft "Summer Breeze".  God bless you Cathy, rest in peace, you will be remembered . . . 2006 and 2015 Biographies

2006

I'm happily divorced after 23 years of marriage. Thoroughly enjoyed raising my 4 kids (also graduates of HHS). I'm still living in the Piedmont subdivision where I grew up. For the past 3 years, I've been employed as the office manager for Interstate Batteries. I walk/jog every day in an attempt to stay healthy. Life is good!

2015

The last several years have been extremely busy/hectic for me.  I am still employed as an Admin with a Government Contractor on Redstone Arsenal.  (I have a great job, but I look forward to retiring one day!!!)  I spend a couple of weekends every month in Florence, AL a to take care of my 85-year old Mom.  I now have (2) grandkids (6-year old & 7-month old) and they live in Madison, so I get to see them quite often!  My 2 oldest kids live in Huntsville/Madison and my 2 younger ones reside in Colorado.  My oldest son is getting married to his high school sweetheart in November!  I am thoroughly enjoying my new single-level home, but it still needs lots of home improvements.  Thankfully I sold my Monarch Drive home in February of this year, because owning (2) homes was a headache!
