Cristy was such a great sister from the beginning all the way to her death in January 1998. She lived with breast cancer for six years and never complained about her condition. She saved my life in the end. I was lucky enough to be diagnosed early with breast cancer and survived. Early detection was possible for me with genetic testing. The studies with identical twins will hopefully help to find a cure for this sad disease. So the next time you see a pink breast cancer ribbon... think of Cristy and her help to find a cure.
