David Wayne McCrickard, born July 14, 1958 in Huntsville, Alabama, passed away June 20, 2015 in Albertville, Alabama following a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, T. L. McCrickard, Jr. He is survived by his daughter Morgan, his mother Virginia, and brothers Thomas (Susan) and Matthew (Bonnie).
He earned graduate degrees from Auburn University and The University of Alabama. A creative and award winning photographer, his eclectic career included commercial photography, advertising, and teaching. He was also an instrument rated pilot.
The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Valley View Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bonnie Mixon McCrickard officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Marshall County - Shepherd's Cove or any cancer research organization.
