Age 82 of Tullahoma, TN passed away January 14, 2019 at his residence. Before his retirement, Homer was employed by the Moore County Board of Education as principal of Moore County High School and had previously been the principal of Huntsville High School. He had coached many student athletes in football, basketball, and baseball at Huntland High School and Randolph School in Huntsville. Homer is survived by his children, Daphne Lynn Hudgins of Tullahoma; Sam A. (Joanne) Adams of Tabernash, Colorado; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Porter, James Hudgins, Lilly Adams, Caleb Adams, and Brittany Adams; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Monday, January 21, 2019 at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in the Chapel of Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with interment at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
