With her first grandchild - 2019
Marla Jane Roberts, age 61 of Huntsville, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019. She was born on August 13, 1958 to the late Carl and Gladys Roberts.
She is survived by her three children, Kirby (Matthew), Hannah (Riley), Walter; granddaughter, Evelyn; siblings, Carla and Chris (Betsy); several nieces and nephews; family friend, Ryan; and two dogs, Sadie and Jack.
She attended University of Alabama at Birmingham where she co-founded Alpha Gamma Delta. She later attended and graduated University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1983 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She spent the next 35 years working as a registered nurse in the Huntsville area. She had a gift for helping others.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, November 5th from 3:00 – 4:00 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Avenue Southwest, Huntsville, Alabama 35805.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Family Care of Huntsville.
