Patty Slupe Holter

Patty was one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever known. I will truly miss my lifelong and best friend. We met in Junior High School and remained friends ever since. Her giving spirit and beautiful smile made everyone feel like they were the most important person in the world. She was able to touch the life of everyone who knew her. Hold tight to your memories with Patty. She was special. We were like sisters and she will forever be in my heart. – Audrey Balliet Beerli

I feel so sad in my heart. Very, very sad. I've lost my dear friend from high school days. I will miss knowing she is with us on this earth.  Patti was one of my very best friends in High School. We were especially close in 9th, 10th and 11th grade ... our activities diverged a bit in 12th grade I think, but we were close all the way through. I always loved and cherished her friendship.

We had lost touch through the years after high school graduation. I had thought recently that it would be nice to get back in touch as I started my family very late and we're just into a more settled period.  Patti was sweet and could make me laugh like no one else. We would play the silliest games when we had sleep-overs. She was incredibly fun. I remember around 10 years ago Patti got in touch with me by phone. We chatted and it felt like old times. I was in a stressful time of my life and I think also in her life, but she had me laughing just like old times. Some of my most fond memories in high  school were enjoying Patti's company. I loved her parents as well.

God bless her family in this loss. - Cindy Browning
