I have been shamed into updating my bio. It was said to be boring....and I have never been one to be very boring. It has been interesting and entertaining to read what has happened in everyone's lives. It makes me feel better...Ha...I have actually had a very blessed life. I am still close to my family including all my cousins in Huntsville. I try and keep up with my friends, having lunch with Tricia Guthrie on a regular basis and talking to Lisa Orth at least on our birthdays. Do you know that she has NEVER missed calling me on my birthday since the 9th grade!!! I have gone from being a speech therapist in the schools to being a stay at home mom to being an executive with a national rehabilitation company.They actually say my strength is in analysis of the numbers . A fact that Mr.Roper at HHS would laugh from his grave about. About 4 years ago, I decided to step back and smell the roses as my children were growing older and I was always away on business. I took a job as a vice=president of operations for a regional rehabilitation company which keeps me home most of the time. A bonus from spending less time on the road was meeting the love of my life. After being divorced for twelve years I was married two years ago to Steve Pierce. I now have three step-children in Indiana in addition to two sons of my own. My oldest is 23 years old and is living in Auburn. I also have a 16 year old that will be a junior at Oak Mountain High School. He is a joy and a handful. He has inherited his mom's desire of attention and love of gab. We live in Birmingham and I try to keep up with all of you that live down here. I have a Christmas party each year and invite those from high school that can come.
