has it really been 30 years? after graduating with a degree in marketing, i enlisted in the united states marine corps, attaining the rank of sergeant, and spending 5 years on the japan/russia border, and at camp pendleton, california with the 1st marine division. after discharge, i left los angeles to live on the beach in corpus christi, texas, where i began a career in broadcast journalism. i've spent the last 20+ years anchoring newscasts for ABC and CBS affiliates, chasing hurricanes, working immigration on the us/mexico border, and covering the dick cheney shooting which happened on a local ranch . i've been honored to interview people like george w. bush and his father, donald trump, wal mart founder sam walton, michael jordan, kobe bryant, oscar de la hoya, jessica simpson, not to mention corpus christi's own selena and eva longoria. i covered the world champion san antonio spurs for a decade. but cannot bring myself to cheer for texas football teams, even though i covered UT in the rose bowl. UT here in texas are the longhorns, but i tell everyone where i come from UT are the vols from tennessee. can't wait to see everybody again!

After 22 years , I retired from the TV news business. I am a legal investigator for a pair of texas law firms.
